FORT HOOD, TX — Fort Hood will be conducting a military convoy using approximately 260 military vehicles on two different routes starting Sunday, Nov. 3.
They are warning residents that they will be affecting areas through the following cities:
Copperas Cove
Lampasas
Goldthwaite
Kempner
Mullin
Bozar
Gatesville
Evant Arnett
Star
Zephyr
The convoys will depart between 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 3 from Fort Hood to Camp Bowie Training Center in Brownwood, TX. They will be returning at the same times on Nov. 8.
TxDOT will be assisting the convoy by setting up traffic control points at the following intersections:
Highway 190 and 183
Highway 183 and FM 2126
FM 15 and Highway 84
Residents will also see an increase of aircraft during this exercise.
