FORT HOOD, TX — The Fort Hood Wounded Warriors are a basketball team made up of professional basketball players from all over the world and raised in Central Texas.
In 2018, the team became official and since then, they've played in TBT, known as "The Basketball Tournament," where they not only represent Central Texas but the Lone Star State.
Every team member is a professional basket player and they've represented Central Texas all over the world. They decided to unite and help their community.
One way of doing that is by helping host a basketball clinic that anyone can sign up for.
Ced Brooks, one of the players says giving back is always rewarding, "we are just trying to shine a spotlight on our community and give back at the same time. We are just using the talent God gave us to help the community."
Head Coach, Marcus Saunders, says this is the perfect way to give back, "it's been a long time coming and we just want to be able to help and having the team assisting us is always a good thing."
They will begin hosting clinics every Saturday starting February 13, 2021, and the cost is $25.
The clinic takes place in round rock but transportation is provided from Killeen.
You can sign up for the clinic here.
