BRYAN, TX — UPDATE: Police have captured Davis. Shelter in place has been lifted.
Davis has been detained. Residents in the area are no longer need to shelter-in-place.

Police say when they attempted to take Davis in custody, he jumped from a seconds story window, injuring himself.
All residents within a half-mile of the 4000 block of College Main were advised to shelter in place while they searched for the aggravated assault suspect.
The College Station Fire Department was on standby and provided medical attention once Davis was found.
He is being transported to a local hospital for his injuries, but police say he is unharmed. No officers were injured in the capture.
College Station Police says Davis is under arrest on a previous and unrelated family violence warrant, but additional charges are expected.
According to police, the search was for 29-year-old Jamarious Davis, in Bryan, just north of Northgate.
Davis is accused of seriously injuring a child just after midnight at Motel 6 in College Station.
The victim was taken to the hospital, according to police.

The search for Davis prompted a 2-hour-long shelter in place.
Police said Davis ran from SWAT, and was believed to still be within a mile of the area.
