KILLEEN, TX — The Bell County Crime Stoppers and the Killeen Police Department is asking for the community's help in identifying a woman accused of attempting to cash a forged check.
Killeen PD received information on December 16 that a woman entered the Vera Bank Financial Institution, located at 2201 East Stan Schlueter Loop, and attempted to cash a forged check.
The woman fled the area prior to the police arrival.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have information to contact Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS (8477) or go online. All information is confidential and anonymous. If your tip leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible, you could be eligible to receive a reward up to $1,000 in cash.
