TEMPLE, TX — The Temple Police Department responded to a stabbing that left a woman injuried last night.
Officers responded to a call in reference to a stabbing at a residence near the 1600 block of South 5th Street on Saturday.
The incident left one woman with injuries.
An initial investigation revealed that the victim was inside her home when a known male subject entered through the window.
The suspect then stabbed the woman and fled the scene, according to police.
The victim was transported to Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Temple.
She is currently in stable condition.
