HARKER HEIGHTS, TX — A 22-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer with a wine bottle, along with other charges.
The Harker Heights Police Department says around 8:40 p.m. on January 19, officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of East Iowa.
Officers found a mother and daughter involved in an altercation.
Harker Heights PD says while officers were attempting to quel the situation, the daughter assaulted an officer by elbowing, striking and hiting him with a wine bottle.
Twenty two-year-old Sidney Lock was arrested for assault on a public servant, assault with bodily injury to a family member and interference with emergency communication.
She was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke and remanded to the Bell County Jail on bonds of $100,000 for the assault on a public servant and $5,000 each for assault on a family member and interference with emergency communication.
The officer involved has returned to duty.
