TEMPLE, TX — The victim of Wednesday's fatal accident in Temple has been identified as 62-year-old Kevin Coy.
After an initial investigation, it is believed the victim may have had a medical episode that caused him to lose control of the vehicle.
Next of kin have been notified.
On Wednesday afternoon, Temple Fire and Rescue responded to a single-vehicle accident, involving a pick-up truck versus a residence. The driver was seen driving South on Ave M, striking a utility pole at 35th Street, and coming to rest inside a residence located at 1304 S 37th Street.
Coy was the only occupant of the vehicle. There was 1 person in the home at the time of the collision.
