KILLEEN, TX — Killeen police are investigating after a 17-year-old died from gunshot wounds on Wednesday.
Police said at 9:22 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Hereford Lane in reference to a shots fired call.
When officers arrived, they found a victim, 17-year-old Martez Anthony Bryant, in the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers performed life saving measures until paramedics arrived.
Bryant later died from his injuries.
The CID Homicide Unit is actively working the investigation.
