KILLEEN, TX — Killeen police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night.
Police said at approximately 7:24 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Kirk Ave. in reference to a shooting victim.
When officers arrived, they found two victims, a 16 and 17 year old, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both victims were transported to Darnall Army Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers were told that the victims were walking in the 2800 block of Lake Road when they were shot by an unknown person.
The investigation is actively being investigated by the violent crimes unit and due to juvenile involvement, minimum information will be released.
