HARKER HEIGHTS, TX — The Harker Heights Police Department have arrested two men after a shots fired investigation.
Darrell Lamont Hubbard and Davonta Shymere Gaines are both charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon on a licensed premise.
On June 14, 2020, at approximately 2:40 a.m., Harker Heights Police Officers responded to reported shots fired incident in the 300 block of West Veterans Memorial Blvd.
Officers say they stopped a vehicle suspected to be associated with the incident and a search of the vehicle yielded several weapons and three individuals detained.
After further investigation by the Harker Heights Police Criminal Investigation Division and in coordination with the Bell County Attorney’s Office, criminal complaints and arrest were made on Darrell Lamont Hubbard and Davonta Shymere Gaines.
Both individuals are charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon on a licensed premise, and were arraigned by Justice of the Peace Coleman and subsequently released on a $30,000 bond.
