TEMPLE, TX — A registered sex offender on probation admitted to offending again, according to Temple Police spokesman Cody Weems.
Wesley Gossett was on probation for a prior sexual assault charge.
During a routine contact with the Temple Police Department as part of his probation requirements, Gossett admitted to having sexual contact with a 16-year-old.
The 22-year-old was arrested March 6 and charged with indecency with a child.
Gossett was in the Bell County Jail Monday after his Friday arrest. His bond was set at $50,000 for the second-degree felony.
