BELL COUNTY — Roads were closed as Temple police responded to a fatal crash on S. General Bruce Drive near South 57th Street.
The deceased of Saturday morning's fatality accident has been identified as 22-year-old Miguel Berumen.
Temple Police say Berumen was driving at an excess speed when he struck another vehicle from behind. He then lost control and was ejected from his vehicle.
No other injuries were reported.
Officers say the accident involved a pickup truck and a small car - TPD asks travelers to take alternate routes this morning until the traffic reconstruction team can reopen the roadway.
