Temple police determining if shootings are related

TEMPLE, TX — The Temple Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Friday morning in the 2200 block of South 47th Street. They are working to determine if this shooting is related to the shooting on Thursday.

Police said the initial invesigation shows that the cases are a result of a dispute between two people.

Officers responded to the call at about 5:30 a.m. Police said that two male victims were transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple and were reported to be in stable condition.

A preliminary investigation indicates the shooting occurred inside a residence during a burglary attempt.

Suspects were described as three unknown males.Police said they are working to determine if drugs were a factor in this shooting.
