TEMPLE, TX — UPDATE:
The Temple Police Department has arrested 38-year-old Dederick Banks in connection to the June 9 shooting after determining he was the prime aggressor in the case.
During an initial investigation, a victim identified Frederick Banks as the prime aggressor in this case. Frederick Banks was arrested that evening on a felony hold.
After further investigation, officers determined that his twin brother, Dederick Banks, was actually the primary aggressor. Frederick Banks was promptly released from Bell County Jail.
Dederick Banks was arrested June 17 and charged with two counts of aggravated assault. He is also a suspect in the June 7 shooting at Club Heavy. That incident is still under investigation.
He is being held on a $400,000.00 bond.

The suspect in a shooting in Temple has been identified as 38-year-old Frederick Banks.

The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The circumstances of this incident are still under investigation.
A suspect has been taken into custody after two people were shot Tuesday evening.
Officers responded to a shooting around 7:34 p.m. at a home in the 500 block of South 16th Street.
Officers were told a man and woman had been shot. The victims were taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple and are in stable condition.
TPD says a man has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting. The investigation is still ongoing.
