TEMPLE, TX — The Temple Mall announced that it will be opening this week. They are closed on Tuesday to clean.

They will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

No early openings for mall walkers, however 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. will be designated as the hour for the elderly and most vulnerable patrons to shop or mall walk!

Mall walkers must keep 6 feet from another mall patron inside and outside the mall and must keep to the right of the common area in a race track format. You will exit on the left side of the entrances to avoid patrons coming in the mall. Please follow the arrow as you come in, they said.

The childrens play area and the food court will be closed as well as drinking fountains, and some business establishments.

Children under the age of 16 will not be permitted unless accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 21.

They said they ask all customers to wear a face mask as a courtesy to other customers and the employees serving you, and remember to keep your social distancing from others that are patronizing the mall.

If you are sick, have a cough or fever, please stay home.

“We are keeping our employees guarded with masks and checking their temperature to keep you safe. Please do the same for them. Our public restrooms are open and sanitized every hour for your safety, please wash your hands and use good hygiene while visiting us,” they said.

Temple mall is open to the public and resides on private property. They can ask anyone that is not social distancing and abiding by the rules set forth in our code of conduct to leave the premises.

Each individual retailer in the mall may have their own rules and regulations and some anchor stores their own hours relating to COVID-19 pandemic while shopping their establishment.
