Temple police allowing people inside the mall, no arrests were made

TEMPLE, TX — Temple police are now letting people back inside the mall, they said the scene has been cleared.

According to Temple police, shortly after 4 p.m. someone inside of the mall reported a suspicious man. They said the man had a note taped on his shoulder.

They said they could not confirm what was written on the note.

Police say the suspect was wearing a black shirt, black pants and was about 5'8.

Officers were initially not letting anyone inside of the mall, they were also not evacuating the mall.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m., officers were letting people inside the mall.

The scene has been cleared.

There were no injuries and no arrests were made.
