Suspect arrested after stabbing incident in Temple

TEMPLE, TX — A suspect has been arrested after a stabbing incident in Temple on Friday.

Temple police said at 6:14 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of N 13th Street for a stabbing.

The victim was transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, 23-year-old Brandon Conaway, was found to have an outstanding warrant for evading.

Conaway was taken into custody and transported to the Bell County Jail.

During the investigation, officers determined that Conaway had gotten into an altercation with the victim. He then stabbed the victim.

Conaway was charged with aggravated assault.

His bond was set at $505,000.
