TEMPLE. TX — Temple ISD said that a student was hit by a car on his way to school this morning.
The district said the student is an 8th grader at Travis Science Academy. He was on his way to school when he was hit at the corner of Ave. R and 31st St.
He was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
They said the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time, but he was conscious at the scene.
