TEMPLE, TX — A student was apprehended after making a threat against a Temple middle school.
According to the Temple Independent School District, a threat was made by a student against Bonham Middle School.
The district says the report was investigated by campus administration and the Temple Police Department.
Temple ISD says the student was removed immediately and will not be returning to campus. The student was apprehended before they reached campus.
The district says parents were sent a letter regarding the threat.
It is important to note that this reported threat was alleviated before any student was in any danger. Safety is always our top priority and we have processes in place to insure the safety of our students and staff. We want to commend the people who reported this concern and would ask parents to continue to encourage your students to report concerns in the future.
