A man has been arrested for capital murder for allegedly murdering his parents in their rural Bell County home.

The Bell County Sheriff's Department says around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, deputies were called out to the 8500 block of Campbell Hill Road in Bell County after a family member on-scene called and told authorities they could not get in contact with the residents inside the home.

Deputies arrived and checked through unshaded windows where they saw a person lying on the ground unresponsive. Authorities made their way inside and found two people dead.

The victims have been identified as 80-year-old Floyd Williams and his wife, 78-year-old Priscilla Williams.

A preliminary autopsy reports the couple died by multiple gunshots. Their deaths are considered homicides.

Information obtained on-scene led authorities to identify the suspect around 2 p.m. on Wednesday as 50-year-old James Keith Williams. He was taken into custody by the Bell County Sheriff's Department without incident.

Williams is the son of the couple.

He has been charged with capital murder of multiple persons and is being held in the Bell County Jail on a $2 million bond.
