KILLEEN, TX — All aboard! The Snowball Express will be landing in Central Texas to transport a special group of boys and girls.
The Snowball Express service is a five-day experience for more than 1,700 family members of fallen soldiers. It particularly focuses on their children and the surviving parent or guardian.
A chartered American Airlines plane will land at different airports across the country, including the Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport, to pick up these families and take them to Disney World in Orlando for a trip they will never forget.
The service is through the Gary Sinise Foundation.
The Snowball Express will land at the Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, and will depart at 7:15 a.m.
