NOLANVILLE, TEXAS — Analy Saucedo’s life was taken from her in the hands of 39-year-old Raymond Bernard Johnson when he hit her with his car. It’s a tragedy her mother can’t fathom.

“He doesn’t know. He doesn't know what he caused. He doesn’t know what I feel," Analy's mother, Herlinda Saucedo, said while sobbing. "He doesn't know what my baby was feeling at that time and he's gonna take it for the rest of his life.”

Her mother said the family was taking a walk when she noticed the reckless driver coming toward them, but it was too late. The child was transported to McLane's Children's Hospital and succumbed to her injuries five days later.

“We care deeply about you. We care deeply about your daughter," said Nolanville PD Chief of Police Michael Hatton. "And we will not stop until we get justice for her.”

Johnson was transported to Seton Medical Center and then booked into the Bell County Jail. While authorities wait to get the toxicology reports back, loved ones offer assistance.

“I want to get the whole community together as one big family," Uriel Leon, a family friend, said. "To show her the support, that right now, she needs.”

Johnson was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and driving without a license. It's a charge her mother will never let him live down.

“I’m never, never going to give up. I’m never going to let him get out of jail," Herlinda said. "It takes me what it takes me, I’m never going to let him get out of jail.”

The mother said she never imagined her life to be this way.

“In every aspect.. Life is different for me. I’m never gonna be the same," Herlinda said while tears streamed down her face. "She was my strength. My kids were my everything. She was my everything.”

Family and friends are organizing two fundraisers this weekend to show their support. The first fundraiser will be held on Saturday and the next will be on Sunday. A GoFundMe page has also been set up to help the family.
