TEMPLE, TX — Spare Time Texas is officially opening an outdoor expansion in Temple.
Shakers Backyard will include go-karts, a ropes course, batting cages, yard games, sand volleyball courts, and an outdoor bar and grill with covered event space.
The addition is anticipated to open in late summer 2020.
The $5 million expansion will add to the center’s current entertainment options of bowling, laser tag, and arcade games.
The expansion plans to host sand volleyball leagues and offer event and party packages to include the new outdoor activities.
The center will also be hiring internally and externally for 30-40 new positions.
