TEMPLE, TX — The Salvation Army of Bell County is looking to help people in need this holiday season with a good meal and a pair of socks.
The organization is hosting its Community Thanksgiving Meal on Wednesday, November 27 at 5 p.m. The meal will be served at 419 West Avenue G.
Many of those served at the meal walk to the gathering, meaning their socks wear out much faster. The Salvation Army will give each person who comes to eat a new pair of socks.
Salvation Army of Bell County will also hold a Christmas Community Meal.
