TEMPLE, TX — A prescribed burn is scheduled at the Temple airport.
Temple fire said the prescribed burn would be at the Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport and happen between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Approximately 117 acres within the airport's airfield are going to be burned.
Dead grass and wildflower build-up will be removed in advance of the Central Texas Airshow (May 3-5).
