HARKER HEIGHTS, TX — Police have arrested the suspect after a 28-year-old man was found suffering from a possible gunshot wound on Friday.
According to the Harker Heights Police Department, around 2:11 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a call of an injured man in the 100 block of Ball Road.
A 28-year-old man was found with an injury to his back and side. The injury appeared to be a gunshot wound.
Harker Heights PD says the man was treated by EMS, and then airlifted to Baylor Scott & White. The victim is recovering from his injuries and surgery.
Ronald Stabreit, 38, was arrested on Saturday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was transported to the Bell County Jail.
His bond is set at $250,000.
