KILLEEN, TX — Killeen Police are investigating after a man was shot at least five times during a disturbance on Kingwood Drive Tuesday morning.

Officers were told that at approximately 9:15am, a male arrived at a residence located in the 1900 bock of Kingwood Drive and was heard damaging a truck in the driveway.

The homeowner came outside and saw the male leaving the scene in blue Honda car.

Police say the homeowner went back in the house and retrieved a handgun.

When he came back out, the same male stopped in the roadway of Greengate Drive on the side of the house and approached the homeowner with an aluminum bat.

A disturbance ensued between the two that led to the homeowner shooting the male at least five times.
