BELTON, TX — A Belton man was arrested after police said he sexually assaulted a child.
Belton police said that on March 16, a child, under the age of six, was taken to the hospital, showing signs of bruising on several parts of their body and injuries to their "diaper area" that were consistent with sexual assault.
During their investigation, police said that Austin Robinson, 21, was in the same home as the child on March 15.
Robinson admitted to police that he had sexually assaulted the child, as well as hit them several times.
Robinson was arrested on March 23 and is being held at the Bell County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
