TEMPLE, TX — Numerous people packed up the Baylor, Scott and White Medical Center parking lot in Temple Wednesday for a special worship service.
During the event, people prayed for patients and healthcare workers in the hospital and sung various songs. Most importantly, they followed social distancing guidelines by remaining in their cars, showing signs and even waving to patients.
"I just want to tell them that they are loved, and that they are prayed for and that God is a good God. Just know that we're gunna get through this," said Kay Hirrill.
The participants also showed gratitude towards first responders for all the hard work they put in to save lives.
