KILLEEN, TX — Parts of southeast Killeen have become "hotspots" for car burglaries, according to the Killeen Police Department.
Over the past four days, multiple burglaries have occurred in certain areas on the southeast side. Killeen PD says the burglaries happened between 9 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.
Valuables were left in plain sight, cash was left in the center console and firearms and ammunition were all left in unlocked cars.
Killeen PD is reminding residents to lock their cars and take in their valuables.
