KILLEEN, TX — A Killeen ISD student was charged with assault after officials say she hit an officer.
According to the district, a campus officer was trying to stop a fight between two girls at Shoemaker High School.
One of the students, 16, then assaulted the officer.
She was charged with assault of a public servant and took her to juvenile detention.
