TEMPLE, TX — The National Weather Service has issued a grass fire danger statement for Temple and other parts of Bell County.
Temple Fire and Rescue said that while most people aren't thinking about dangerous grass fires right now, it is important to remember that it is very dry in our area.
They said that with the addition of southerly winds and low humidity grass fires become a real concern.
They are warning people to not burn or weld outdoors during this time.
If you see a grass fire, call 911 or your local fire department immediately.
