Highway expansions aren't the only projects underway in Nolanville right now as more businesses are planning on moving to the area.

After 4 years of operating Hidden Falls Nursery and Garden Center in Killeen, owner Bill Gilliam is relocating his business to Nolanville.

"They have got a lot of little neat things going on in Nolanville to make it a more happening place," Gilliam said.

Gilliam said he has been looking for a place where he could get the right amount of exposure and still keep his loyal customer base in Central Texas.

"I had folks tell me that they never knew it was there an they lived right down the road so I knew I needed to find a better location so people could find me easily," Gilliam said.

Nolanville Mayor Andy Williams said he was happy to hear about the move and welcomes all businesses looking to for a place to grow.

"As we grow in population, we want to grow in those services so that we can offer to our citizens, so they don't have to go out to other cities to get the basic necessities they need," Mayor Williams said.

Gilliam said that he is still working to get everything in place but hopes to have the store open by February.
