TEMPLE, TX — Temple Fire and Rescue responded to a house fire Tuesday morning.
Officials said at 2:36 a.m., firefighters responded to a reported house fire in the 100 block of South 27th Street.
The first arriving unit reported flames coming from the back of the one-story house. They entered the house to conduct a search, but found no one inside.
The fire was put out.
The back of the home received fire damage. A dollar loss amount to the building and the contents has not been calculated.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause and the origin of the fire.
There were no injuries.
Temple police, Temple EMS and Oncor Electric responded to the scene.
The fire was under control at 2:55 a.m.
