BELL COUNTY, TX. — A nationwide Twitter movement is having an impact daily -- and recently, on two families in Bell County.

Bill Pulte is a philanthropist and the inventor of the Twitter Movement #TwitterPhilanthropy, where Pulte sheds light on cases that need a helping hand. The page has received so much attention, that people will volunteer to help someone when they can.

For a Bell County family, they received a brand new AC unit for their home.

"I'm very grateful for Bill Pulte to be doing this for a prior service member, which would be my husband," said Becky.

For Becky's family, their AC unit stopped working and they were dealing with a small window unit in their bedroom until the movement helped them out. Pulte was able to find a way to donate an AC unit to this family.

The owner of Jormer Enterprises, a local air conditioning business in Copperas Cove, says they jumped on board when they saw the need in their community. They installed the AC unit for the family at no cost.

"I tweeted to him and I said, 'Hey, if you pick a disabled veteran in the Fort Hood market, we will put it in for free," said Cheryl Rodriguez-Bly.

Rodriguez says it was an act of kindness she wishes more people would do for others.

"Giving back is something we do, everyone hits a spot in their life where things are rough. It's the little things that add up, and it changes the environment around you when you do better."
