KILLEEN, TX — The Killeen Police Department said that a motorcyclist is in critical condition after an accident Wednesday night.
The incident happened in the 2100 block of Clear Creek Road.
Police said the preliminary investigation revealed that a yellow Yamaha motorcycle was traveling southbound in the inside lane. A SUV exited a private drive to turn left onto Clear Creek Road.
This forced the motorcycle to hit the back of the vehicle, and the motorcyclist was ejected from his vehicle.
The driver was transported to the hospital. He is stable, but in critical condition.
The driver of the SUV had no injuries and was cited for fail to yield.
