KILLEEN, TX — The Killeen Police Department says they responded to a crash on State Hwy 195 that ended in a driver being airlifted.
Police were dispatched to a crash on Hwy 195 around 5:37 p.m. on Feb. 24.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a silver Honda Accord, occupied by two people, was traveling southbound on 195.
According to police, the driver reached the turnaround to turn left to a business and as he crossed the northbound lanes, the driver failed to yield right of way to a motorcycle that was traveling northbound in the outside lane.

A vehicle that was traveling behind the motorcycle took evasive action from the outside lane to the inside, the driver then hit the motorcycle that was in the roadway.
The motorcycle driver was airlifted to Baylor Scott & White.
