TEMPLE, TX — A man is dead after a shooting in Temple Sunday night.
The Temple Police Department says officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Sixth Street around 7 p.m. Sunday for a call about a shooting victim.
When officers arrived, they found a 30-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim, identified as Clayton Pratt, was pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace GW Ivey. An autoposy has been ordered.
Police say the suspect left the scene before officers arrived. An investigation is ongoing.
