TEMPLE. TX — Temple police have arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting on November 6 near West Avenue M and 17th Street.
Marcus Mayes, 21, was arrested on November 22 during a traffic stop after police say they found marijuana in his vehicle.
On Nov. 23, a warrant was issued for Mayes. He is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon related to the shooting on November 6.
Temple police responded to the shooting Wednesday, November 6 at 7:55 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to the hospital by EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
