KILLEEN, TX — A man wanted in connection to a murder in Georgia was arrested in Killeen on Thursday.
Athens-Clarke County police said 32-year-old Rodriguez Rucker was murdered on December 14.
After an extensive investigation, two people have been arrested in connection to the murder.
Officials said 30-year-old Philmon Chambers, of Decatur, Georgia, was arrested in Killeen. He was booked into the Bell County Jail Thursday afternoon for malice murder.
The same day as Chambers’ arrest, 24-year-old Andrea Brown was arrested in Athens, Georgia in connection to Rucker’s murder. She will face a felony murder charge.
Police said Chambers and Brown are known associates.
