FORT HOOD, TX — Live fire training exercises have sparked three fires on Fort Hood.
Officials say the blazes are burning near Brown's Creek, Clabber Creek and Jack Mountain.
Firefighters have extinguished 12 acres at the Brown's Creek fire and two acres at the Clabber Creek fire. Officials say the Jack Mountain fire is still burning and has burned about 50 acres.
The fires are not threatening any structures and are contained within Fort Hood. Officials are not asking for any outside help at this time.
There are currently five vehicles on the ground battling the blazes, including one water tended and two command units.
