The victims of a weekend triple homicide in Killeen have been identified.

29-year-old Rodell Emmanuel Wallace, 30-year-old Robin Renee Moses, and 26-year-old Malcolm Jamal Laborn were found dead from apparent gun-shot wounds in an apartment building, according to police.

The Killeen Police department is working around the clock to put the piece together what happened in the 300 block of Blair Street. Police are asking for help from the community to close this case, hoping anyone who knows anything will come forward. However, the neighborhood is talking, but not really to police.

“They said it was execution style. They had a little dog and it was covered in blood. There were three types of ways there was, a love triangle type of way too,” said one neighborhood resident.

Though there is one witness who police say looked through a window of the residence and noticed a person laying on the floor, the case remains open.

“In all honesty someone knows who happens, besides the individual or individuals involved, someone knows what happened. Just because there was a loud weapon involved does not automatically mean that someone heard it. So, it is possible that next door neighbors that genuinely have no idea what happened,” said Dr. Tammy Bracewell, Professor of Criminal Justice at A&M Central Texas.

With over a decade of law enforcement under her belt, Dr. Bracewell says its best to come forward even if you think your tip won't help.

“It really is, no tip is too small. If you know something it's better to report it and let the police vet the information. It is our duty as responsible citizens to help when we can however there are legitimate reasons why people don’t help or why they may choose not to help,” she said.

Distrust in the system, fear of retaliation, and not wanted to get involved or testify in a potential trial are a few of the reasons why Dr. Bracewell says someone may not want to come forward and share tips with police. But with families grieving the loss of loved ones Dr. Bracewell says someone should come forward.

“There is someone out there who knows something. Regardless of who they are their families deserve closure," Dr. Bracewell said.

The department is asking anyone who may have seen anything or has information about this Homicide, to contact the Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-TIPS (8477) or go online at bell county crime stoppers.com
