KILLEEN, TX — Killeen police are allowing residents to return to their homes after they evacuated three neighborhoods on Friday.
According to police, they received a request from the Fort Hood Criminal Investigation Division for assistance on an ongoing investigation.
During the investigation, officers evacuated three neighborhoods for the safety of the residents.
At 9:17 p.m., police said residents from the neighborhoods that were evacuated earlier, can return to their homes.
Police have cleared the areas and they are safe.
Police said they will post updates when they receive them.
