FORT HOOD, TX — A mother's viral video has caused quite the stir.

Military wife Shante Fletcher said she has had issues with Killeen ISD handling allegations of sexual assault and threats against her son's life.

In a viral video that has been viewed more than 13,000 times, Fletcher shared her concerns about the way her son has been treated.

She says it has been a difficult school year for her 10-year-old son who attends Meadows Elementary School on Fort Hood.

"What it's sounding like from everyone involved is, 'Well, we're sorry we've done all that we can do. It's not our problem so to speak," said Fletcher in an exclusive interview with 25 News.

She said in September, a fellow student grabbed her son by the back of his neck and tried to violate him in a sexual manner.

"They did an investigation, it came to be founded," said Fletcher. "I filed a police report. I had to find out through my son that the child is still in the class with my son and he only received one to two days of In-school suspension."

She said the bullying did not stop there.

"Children in the recess area that he was playing four square, had called him the 'N word' and had threatened to bring a rope to school the next day," said Fletcher. The mom is afraid that her son might be seriously injured if action is not taken.

"Dec. 18 was when he said that the two boys in his class were threatening to kill him," said Fletcher. "Well, one of the kids had asked the other child if he could bring a pocket knife to school because he wanted to kill my son, allegedly."

We reached out to KISD to get answers. In a statement, the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer Taina Maya said:

"The district is aware of the video on social media and we have been in contact with the student’s mother on a campus and district level. As you know we are not able to discuss a situation regarding a particular student, however the district takes all student and parent concerns seriously and investigates them to the fullest."

Meanwhile, Fletcher said she is not only worried about her child's safety, but all students.

Fletcher said since her son's school is on Fort Hood, she reported the alleged sexual assault and death threat issues to military police.
