Killeen Mayor signs executive order requiring face masks in all commercial entities

KILLEEN, TX — In a press conference Wednesday morning, Killeen Mayor Jose Segarra signed an executive order that announced face masks are now required at all commercial entities in Killeen starting July 2, 2020.

Mayor Segarra also announced that those who refuse to wear a mask may be fined up to $1,000 for not complying with the executive order.

He also announced that those with health problems would not have to wear a mask.

A five day grace period will be allowed for businesses to come up with a plan.

The executive order will be in effect from July 2, 2020, until July 31, 2020.
