KILLEEN, TX — A boil water notice is issued effective May 7, 2020 at 10 a.m. for properties located at 502 and 506 through 922 N. 38th Street.
Complications during the replacement of a fire hydrant have interrupted water service and crews are on-site completing repairs.
Once service is restored, all water must be boiled prior to consumption.
Affected properties have been notified directly. A public notice has been issued at KilleenTexas.gov.
Water for drinking, cooking and for making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
