Killeen ISD offers update on commencement and school openings

KILLEEN, TX — Killeen ISD Superintendent John Craft announced plans for graduation Tuesday morning.

KISD announced they plan to hold virtual graduation for seniors to receive their diplomas

KISD plans to have another more traditional in-person graduation for July 20th and 21st.

The in-person commencement will be held at the Bell County Expo Center.

Superintendent Craft also announced that campuses and district offices by May 18 to allow parents to register their children for the next school year.

No decision has been made on whether or not school will resume as normal in the fall.

Superintendent Craft is still working with the Texas Educators Agency to come up with the best decision possible for the 2021- 2022 School year.
