KILLEEN, TX — A Killeen ISD middle school was placed on an external lockdown Monday morning.
The district said Palo Alto Middle School was given the all clear at 8:24 a.m. The external lockdown was lifted.
The school was under an external lockdown due to a police matter out in the neighborhood. There was not a threat to the school.
All the students were kept inside while Killeen police were investigating the matter in the neighborhood.
