In a 4-2 vote, Killeen ISD's school board decided Tuesday to keep most students — on the district's campuses — on campus during lunch periods.
The change is being made for safety reasons, district officials said.
There are exceptions: Some seniors will be allowed to eat off campus — if they meet certain requirements.
