KILLEEN, TX — The Killeen Animal Shelter is suspending their Tuesday adoption hours.
The shelter says people will no longer be able to adopt an animal on Tuesdays through December 3.
The suspension will allow staff to conduct facility maintenance, organization and staff training.
The shelter says all other Animal Services Division functions, including responding to routine and emergency calls, will still be available Tuesdays. People will still be able to visit the shelter for adoptions from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays through Saturdays.
Animals who are ready for adoption can also be viewed online anytime.
